Place some treats or dry food in the slots. Allow your dog to move the blocks using its paw or nose and in doing so move the treats towards the edge, where they can fall out through one of the holes on the side. The blocks cannot be lifted up.

Ingenious and great fun! DogTurbo can be adjusted to make it slightly easier or more difficult depending on where the blocks and the treats are placed.

DogTurbo can and should be made a little easier in the beginning by placing the treats close to the edge with the blocks behind. All your dog needs to do then is move a block in the right direction using its paw or nose to get the treats out through a hole on the side. If the dog only wants to lick the treat and tries to get it out, place your hand over the treat once the dog stops and say 'paw'. Then try to get the dog to work with its paw instead of its mouth. Praise the dog when it starts to get it right.

To make it more difficult place the blocks in rows in the circle in the middle with the treats in the slots. The dog will then have to work to get the blocks out into the slots towards the edges in order to get the treats to fall out through the holes. Note: make sure the treats are not too big.

Increase the degree of difficulty: A challenge for your dog is to place all the blocks on one side of Dog Turbo and all the treats on the other side. The dog then has to work the blocks into the circle and out towards the edge on the other side to get the treats out.

A really ingenious challenge for your dog is to place the blocks at the end of the slots just beside the holes on the sides and place the treats in front (facing the middle). This means that the dog has to work the treats towards the middle and then out into a free slot in order to get the treats.

Remember…...do not let your dog bite the Dog Turbo. Play with it together with your dog. Do not leave the dog unattended with the toy.
