We've brought in some whimisical new items - this fun t-shirt that says "dog is good" and some greeting cards with great graphics including this very fun one:

There are also some new dog toys that are squeaky and fun and relatively tough - check them out!
Stay tuned for lots of new items. We just returned from a product show (FUN!) where we found lots of new things. We've ordered some new collars and quite a few new human clothing items such as short sleeve and long sleeve t-shirts (unisex & women's), hats and sweatshirts. We will also be getting in some new treats (dog & cat), new warm coats and polar fleece t-shirts for dogs....and more things that we can't even remember! We'll work on adding them to the site as they arrive - and if you're in the Madison area be sure to check our store often!

Featured Shelter/Rescue Group
October 1, 2009 brings a new "Featured Shelter" for bad dog frida, LLC. Thanks to everyone that has shopped with us we were able to mail a donation to last quarter's group - The Dane County Humane Society. The contribution jar on our counter raised $50 and we sent an additional $800 from us!

We are pleased to introduce The Humane Society of Jefferson County (HSJC) as our next featured group. We hope you will take a moment to find out more information about this great shelter and the work that this organization does to help find permanent homes for the animals in their care. Click here to read more. We adopted Ruby, one of the sweetest dogs ever, from HSJC in 2005. She was an old girl who was gently cared for and appreciated by the staff of HSJC. We will be forever grateful to them for allowing us to connect with her and bring her into our home for 3 wonderful years.
On November 16, 2009 we will have another great workshop by Dr. Chris Bessent. This time she will talk about how to treat your dog's arthritis through herbs, supplements and nutrition. There is no charge for the event but please contact us to pre-register as seating is limited.
We have a number of Meet & Greet events scheduled for the next few months including a new group for us to work with, Madison Mutts. Check out what is currently scheduled and be sure to check back often since we continue to add new events.

Reminder of our Re-Dog program! Re-Dog is a re-sale "shop" of gently used dog collars, leashes, toys, coats, sweaters, etc. If you have a toy that your dog never understood why you bought it, or a sweater he/she has outgrown, here's your opportunity to get some cash for them and someone else will have the opportunity to buy them at a cost much lower than they would cost new. The Re-Dog Store (which will be a small section in our small store!!) will be open the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. If you have items that you'd like to sell us please contact us!
